Peer Support Specialist
Crisis Team Member

Hiring for all shifts:   first, second and third shifts available

  • Person with lived experience in recovery from a mental illness or experience navigating the mental health system for a family member or loved one.

  • Highschool equivalent with a Certified Recovery Support Specialist or the ability to become a Certified Recovery Support Specialist within one year of employment (training provided)

  • Knowledge and training in Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders/Diagnosis

 

Responsibilities: (Training Provided)

Participate on a Crisis team along side mental health professionals responding to person’s experiencing mental health crisis in the community by:

  • Participating on Crisis Line Calls

  • Providing Brief Solution Focused Crisis Counseling

  • Off-Site Mobile Crisis Response

  • Follow up and referral

  • Safety Planning

  • Documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards

  • Must be able to travel
