Outpatient Behavioral Health
Counselor/Therapist
Therapist/Counselor Qualifications:
-
Education: Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field preferred OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work
-
Other Bachelor's Degrees with at least two years supervised experience in the field
-
Licenses preferred: LSW, LPC, LCPC, LCSW, CADC
-
Knowledge and training in Evidenced Based Practices preferred
Therapist/Counselor Responsibilities:
-
Populations may vary depending on your interest. Positions available for working with children, adolescents, adults and/or families for both Mental Health and/or Substance Use Disorders

Provide Individual, couple, family and group therapeutic interventions
-
Conduct Assessments
-
Develop Treatment Plans
-
Communicate with referral sources
-
Documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards
-
Knowledge of DASA Rule 2060 and DMH Rule 132 preferred
-
Crisis Rotation Required
-
When indicated, provide consultation, case management and out-reach services
