Outpatient Behavioral Health
Counselor/Therapist

Therapist/Counselor Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field preferred OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work

  • Other Bachelor's Degrees with at least two years supervised experience in the field

  • Licenses preferred: LSW, LPC, LCPC, LCSW, CADC

  • Knowledge and training in Evidenced Based Practices preferred

 

Therapist/Counselor Responsibilities:

  • Populations may vary depending on your interest.  Positions available for working with children, adolescents, adults and/or families for both Mental Health and/or Substance Use Disorders

  • Provide Individual, couple, family and group therapeutic interventions

  • Conduct Assessments

  • Develop Treatment Plans

  • Communicate with referral sources

  • Documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards

  • Knowledge of DASA Rule 2060 and DMH Rule 132 preferred

  • Crisis Rotation Required

  • When indicated, provide consultation, case management and out-reach services
