Day Treatment Counselor
Wellness Recovery Club

Experience/Education:

Bachelor's in Counseling, Social Work or related field required, or Other Bachelor's Degrees with at least two years supervised experience in the field, or High School equivalent with five years supervised experience in the mental health field or a Certified Recovery Support Specialist.
Knowledge and training in Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders/Diagnosis

Responsibilities

Provide group and individual rehabilitation services to promote recovery from mental illness and/or substance use disorders
Assist clients in meeting treatment plan goals
Document services in Electronic Health Record
Refer client to necessary agency and community services
Assist clients with accessing necessary public benefits
Coach clients and assist them in learning Daily Living Skills
Coach clients and assist them to learn Recovery/Coping Skills
Assist clients to accomplish their recovery goals
Participation in after-hours crisis coverage rotation
