Clinton County Drug Court Counselor

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field preferred OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work

  • Other Bachelor's Degrees with at least two years supervised experience in the field

  • Licenses preferred: LSW, LPC, LCPC, LCSW, CADC

  • Knowledge and training in Evidenced Based Practices preferred

Responsibilities: (Training Provided)

  • Participate on Clinton County Drug Court team and provide progress reports on participants, assist team in providing incentives to participants and problem solving cases

  • Assess and screen new drug court referrals

  • Develop individualized treatment plans with participants

  • Provide Individual and group therapeutic interventions using evidenced based approaches

  • Documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards

  • Knowledge of SUPR Rule 2060 and DMH Rule 132 and 140 preferred

  • When indicated, provide consultation, case management and out-reach services
